Fitment Notes for 20 × 8.25
- Best width window: 245–275 mm (about 9.6"–10.8").
- Acceptable with extra bulge: 285 mm and 11.50" flotation. The tire will measure a little wider than it would on a 9–9.5" wheel.
- Height: 32"–33" is typically stock or mild level. 34"+ usually needs a level kit. 35"+ usually needs a lift and a clearance check.
- Load: Specify LT construction and Load Range E for towing, payload, and dual-rear applications. Do not substitute P-metric / SL tires of the same size.
- Brand variation: Rim minimum/maximum, actual section width, and exact load can differ by model. Check the sidewall and the manufacturer spec sheet for the exact tire installed.
